I recorded the show really early this week (Bank Holiday Monday) because the week was going to be very busy – including a visit to Lord’s for the cricket with Alex, which turned into a rather longer and more drink-sodden day than intended (with the upsaide that we met some old uni friends of mine, and met some interesting new people). Anyway, that was the week that was, and a new one will begin soon (just as busy).

Just remember that autumn doesn’t actually start until 13:43 on 22nd September, and not, as simplistic meteorologists would have you believe, on 1st September.
