Music

#NewMusicFriday – 31/10/2025

Well, that was the week of being preoccupied with the preparation for my colonoscopy, and with being very anxious about the procedure itself (which went well, and I got the all-clear). Once again, I worried about nothing, and yet again, I was reminded how wonderful the NHS is, and how caring, compassionate, and committed the people are who actually do all the hard work. And this is a service which is still underfunded in so many ways. #SaveOurNHS

I was very glad to be behind the microphone again, and to be able to play 31 fabulous new tracks, as well as two from the immediate past (the one to open the show I decided on at the last moment as it seemed appropriate – the monarchy went past its sell-by date a long time ago), and one from the 1940s.

Little Strange – Livin’ In Sin
The Trusted – Levitate
Year Of October – Flannel
