Preamble
Preamble
“Before we really get started,”
She said, having removed his clothes
And put them next to the bed
In a neat pile by hers, “we have
To agree that this is all about
Each other’s pleasure, and accept
That neither of us have done this
Before.” She stroked his chest,
Moved her hand down slowly,
Deliberately hesitant. “So things
May turn out differently to how
We expected them to.” She kissed
Him. “And there’s no shame in
That.” He closed his eyes as
She traced his body with her
Tongue, so he never saw its forked
Tip, nor the teeth that pulled
Him apart.
