Where it began isn’t the back streets
Nor the beer cellars nor the market places
Of 1930s Germany, nor slavery or the
Lazy imperialism of white men wanting
More than they had, nor the arrogance
Of Elizabethan or Tudor England.
This rumpus of right-wing radicalism
Started the moment men around the
Globe decided to put crowns on their
Heads and declare themselves better
Than anyone else, just because they
Could. And our new age is so
Ignorant of history and afraid of
The Clans of left and right-wing
Fascism it forgets the roots of
White exceptionalism, and how to fight it.
