And, yes, I do know, as I said on the show, that The Cure will probably not struggle for streams, but the song is getting preccious little airplay. And that should be a bit of an eye-opener for everyone, because if they can’t get airplay, then what about all the other acts and artists just starting out, or working hard every week to be heard? The world needs educating (in so many ways).

There is an injustice in how music promo works, and in how mainstream radio makes its decisions about what to play. The hypocrisy of British radio in not allowing sweary songs to be played at any time of day, if ever, doesn’t help. Ridiculous. Not that I care about it. The swearier the better.
