Like I said at the end of the show, humankind must have some redemptive qualities, surely. Unless the fact that millions of people in the US deliberately voted for evil means that any such qualities have long ceased to exist, and humankind is reduced to one half of it wanting to inflict unspeakable pain on the other half.
