Back to 1-hour pre-records this week. Probably a good thing, as work and life have effectively been full-on since we got back from Agios Nikolaos.

Good to know there’s plenty of good new music out there, though I was very irritated to discover , while I was recording the how, that one of the songs I’d picked was many years old, but had been re-released without its original release date being mentioned anywhere. So I canned it, and ended up playing two versions of one of my favourite old songs.

I must admit, it did seem a very short hour, especially after doing two 3-hour shows on the bounce. The truth is, broadcasting (whether pre-recording or broadcasting live) is a huge huge pleasure, and I’m very fortunate that I can do it. Now stream the hell out of this music. These non-mainstream artists deserve all the support they can get.
