Shackles

The world is tied by the struggles
Of men for power in the name of
What they say faith is. The truth
Is they have no faith, not an ounce
Of belief in anything which heals or
Gives succour to the suffering.

We are bound by the shackles
Of goodness, will not raise arms
Against the dictators and killers,
Because our belief in peace forbids
It, because it is immoral to wish
Death on anyone however evil they
Are. They explot this, and keep
Making war on us because of it.

And the gods laugh.
