Poetry

You Don’t

You don’t know how much I love you

Although
I spend nights awake
Whole nights
And nights away
Whole nights
And sleepless
Like the one now
And tomorrow
And yesterday
Because it doesn’t stop, in my head

You and the girls and the boy

And what I owe you
And what you all could do
That I could say you owe me
But that I don’t expect
Because it’s not expectation
It’s hope
For you to have better things now
And when I’ve gone

Somewhere else I sleep all night

Every night
But that’s another universe
And I’m different there
