Day 289

I’ve spent most of the day trying to fix the front door handle, without any success. Both M and I are flummoxed by the poor workmanship on the handle, and the stripped screws which will just not budge. No amount of fancy extractors have been able to remove them. I have drilled round one of them. The next will have to be tackled tomorrow. And that’s the day gone.

Even more important, vastly so, is what we should do about the climate catastrophe. The final episode of Frozen Planet 2 was yet another piece of sobering and frightening viewing. It makes me think we should all just leave the internet and shut down all its associated aerver farms. This needs a long ponder and urgent action.
