Those who live it have always
Claimed politics is for the people,
But their accents and actions
Have always made it esoteric,
As impenetrable as that word,
A world in thin air, something
The masses can’t understand,
Nor be part of unless they speak
The right way, with the right
Words and true deference to
Those at the top of the pile,
Those kings and queens who
Have played the game best
Of all. And the needs of the
People go unheeded while
Those politicians shit like
Anyone else, just straight onto
The heads of those they ignore.
